What They Say

The DIVINE LIFE INSTITUTE OF CEBU has been the second home of our children Rouann Emmanuelle, incoming Grade 10; Reiann Lueraine, incoming Grade 8; and Ezekiel Red, incoming Grade 1 and Nina Rosann , incoming Kinder. With our children’s learning experiences, we would like to give our humble meaning to DLIC, thus; DEDICATED services and devoted teachers and staff; supportive administration to the needs of our children especially in honing their skills. LESSONS and skills delivered for lifelong learning of our children. We can see these in the daily application of the chores of our children in their day to day activities when at home. INTEGRATION of values in their class discussions are well demonstrated at home and in their daily acquaintances with other people. COMPETENCIES acquired by our children are varied and holistic. They are highly motivated in their journey to quality education. With the competencies they have acquired from DLIC, they become creative learners. Thank you so much DLIC for providing our children a safety and conducive learning environment and the quality of instruction afforded to everyone in school.

We have been part of the DLIC family since 2008 and I can say that we made the right choice of choosing and trusting Divine Life Institute of Cebu Inc. for our children. My wife and I have seen that the school made a great effort in bringing their vision and mission to life by consistently providing their students good and quality education, ensuring them their bright future. As a parent of a Senior High School student, I can vouch that the school is equipped with the necessary tools and facilities that will aid the students in mastering and familiarizing the competencies needed in their chosen track and strand. Aside from the quality education being offered by DLIC, they have also exposed their students to various fun activities like intramurals, foundation day and family day that strengthens the bond between the students, parents and DLIC’s teachers and staff. Our children are also into various religious activities such as Friday masses, recollections, religious clubs, praise and worship battle of the bands, daily scripture and gospel readings, and a chain of Holy Rosaries throughout the day. These and countless activities are eagerly implemented and supported by the school with the purpose of strengthening the student’s values and relationship with God. Having said all these, we thank God, above all, for guiding us and showing us the path where our children would become a better person and a better Christian. Thank you.

As a pioneering parent of Divine Life Institute of Cebu, I have seen it grow from a school that barely had few students into a school that existed to facilitate the wholesome and holistic growth of its students. Over the years, DLIC has become an institution for intellectual development and emotional growth. It has helped mold my daughter, Jessa Louise, into the growing successful individual she is today. DLIC has cultivated not only her mental capacity but also her emotional and social strength. DLIC has become an avenue for healthy relationships between the parents and the administration with wholesome programs that both parents and the administration really worked hard on. Now, I have my grandson in this institution and based on my observation regarding his growth since pre-school, I have really seen a lot of improvement especially in his reading and social skills. DLIC is not merely an institution where you study and grow, it is a home where one lives and learns to love. Go, soar high DLIC and continue to prepare and mold the young for what life has to give.

As parents, what we only want is to provide the best education for our children, thus choosing a school for them is one of the major decisions we need to make. My child was a transferee from other private school in Liloan. For some reasons, we decided to transfer him to Divine Life Institute of Cebu (DLIC), not only because of its proximity to our residence but also the quality of its teaching methodology and the affordability of its tuition/school fees. For five academic years, we observed a great leap of my child’s growth and development. The school, through his mentors, the teachers, have taught their lessons well as he achieved good and high grades for the past years. The various performance tasks have taught him to be independent and to take on his responsibilities as a student, as he ensures that his school projects and assignments are his priority above anything else. With our child’s journey in this school, we are assured of his best education. Also, DLIC has been very sensitive to the economic plight of the parents, thus we are indeed grateful and pleased to this school. Kudos to the men and women of DLIC!

I have two daughters in Divine Life Institute of Cebu. They started as preschoolers and they will be Grade 6 and Grade 7 respectively this coming school year 2020. As a Home-School Partnership Officer, I have seen the strong community and connection among parents who are supportive of the school administrators and teachers. We are a family that cares about the school and to each other. For a relatively young school, DLIC can compete with established institution both private and public on sports and academic platforms from the municipal to national level. These are easily manifested by the accolades and awards that many DLIC students have garnered in the past school years. It likewise sends students to external leadership and skills development training. My daughters have been nominated to these endeavors. DLIC cares for the community. Outside of its corporate citizenship and outreach programs, the school partnered with TESDA to offer vocational courses that includes Japanese language. This facility also ensures that senior high school students have the right tools for hands on learning. I have seen the growth of my children especially during their formative years. DLIC promotes active learning and thought-provoking homework which demands full effort from both the students and the parents. The result is positively rewarding and my daughters are academic achievers. The Catholic foundation of the school manifests in my children’s behavior and respect for everyone.
